Higher levels
I am not planning to add anything above level 3. If you want to submit a solution to a higher level you can do so in the comments on this page. If I get enough solutions (with screenshots included) I may add them to the main blog page. Otherwise these comments will be the place to look.

DeleteI think there is a bug in this puzzle (and in a few others). It might be a good idea to look at the symmetry of the puzzle and make guesses.
I guess that's where the difficulty factor comes into play. I was hoping that they could all be solved without guessing. Figured it out nonetheless. Thanks for clarifying that I wasn't just missing something on that one.
DeleteI just wish CrossMe had the feature where you would mark a square as a guess and move forward to see if your guess pans out, and if it does not, you could undo all the changes after the guess. But it has unlimited undo's, so you could try out one guess at a time, if you save your partial solution at the right time.
DeleteEvery puzzle in Level 4 can be solved without guessing, although sometimes the required logic gets complicated.
DeleteI'm hoping none of the levels require guess and check...that would take the fun out of it.

Each of the files has got a label with the number of the puzzle and the name. One of the puzzles(#8.12) did not have a name, so I put a ? there.

DeleteEven if I am able to solve those puzzles, I don't think the final screenshot would help you with anything. What you could do is send me a screenshot of your half finished puzzle and I could point you to the next step (assuming I find any).
ReplyDeleteI have tried to work on some of the ones around it. I have gotten a few more done. I will take a break from the hard ones and try to go back to those once I can look at them from another angle. I will keep you informed. I will try to take screen shots of the ones I have done.

DeleteStill stuck on 7.27 in the Sensei level. I have finished all puzzles in Sensei but this one. I have done a few in shogun, but I'd like to finish this one. It might be a spider or bug. Please can anyone help? I can't figure out how to upload photos from the iPad to show my ideas of what it might be.

ReplyDeleteDoes anybody have this same problem I'm having. After the Charlie Chaplin puzzle none of my puzzles match up with any website that has CrossMe solutions on them, like they're totally different puzzles and I don't know why. Is anyone experiencing this as well?

ReplyDeleteI think the reason they aren't the same numbers anymore is because of the update. I think they moved some of them around. After it happened, I got really frustrated and almost quit. It's nice to have found this group.

Can someone help with 3.79? I keep starting it over and keep getting stuck. I really appreciate the help listed here for 3.73, that I couldnt find anywhere else. Everyone kept saying it was something different than my screen was showing. Guess that is the difference in an update or something. Thanks guys.

ReplyDeleteI am stuck on one of the new additions. 4.102 is really hard. I can't see any way to use logic to figure it out. I have tried several guess and checks, but there is so much information missing, it makes it so hard. Also, I am having the same problem on 3.103. I don't want to move on to 5 until I finished 3 and 4, but I am stuck on these two puzzles and have been for several days. Any help would be appreciated.
ReplyDelete3.103 is a puppy and 4.102 is a lame looking mountain with out logic. You can finish it in a variety of ways. Not sure how to put a picture on here.

4.18 before update, any help?
ReplyDelete6.20 Fox is unsolvable on my game. There are colors that appear in 4 rows that don't appear in the 4 opposite rows, so placing them in one row makes the opposite automatically wrong. the solution image shows the colors belong there, but the number grid on one side is published incorrectly.
